Origination and onboarding

Decipher Credit

Also known as Decipher Credit Solutions, which is the name most of the older material in this industry uses.

Origination and onboarding software for commercial lenders, with a product built for freight factoring.

Everything below came from that company’s own website or from dated trade coverage, and the sources are at the foot of the page. Where they publish nothing, this page says so rather than filling the gap with an estimate.

Two claims, kept apart

Origination and onboarding

The relationship

A fact about two companies. Ours to assert.

FactorFox works with Decipher Credit. Confirmed 28 August 2026. It requires no code to be true and it implies none.

The connection

A fact about software. Engineering’s to evidence.

Not built

No row exists in the integration register, so nothing in the product connects to them today.

The same two questions are worth asking of any vendor’s partner page, including this one.

What they do

What Decipher Credit actually sells.

  1. Decipher sells cloud software that runs a commercial lender's origination process end to end: application intake, underwriting, document generation with electronic signature, workflow and post close monitoring. Customers are commercial lenders, including asset based lenders and factors.

  2. They publish a product built specifically for this industry, described on their own site as designed exclusively for the freight factoring industry. Its documented capabilities include identity capture, motor carrier and department of transportation number verification, automated background search and, on higher tiers, automatic UCC filing.

  3. Founded in 2016, based in Bethesda, Maryland, led by chief executive Raul Velarde.

Why it matters

Why a funding business should care.

Written for the lender rather than for the borrower, which is the audience every page on this site is written for.

  1. Carrier onboarding is where a freight book accumulates most of its future problems, and it is the stage most often run on a spreadsheet and a folder of scanned documents.

  2. Motor carrier and department of transportation verification at intake is a trucking specific control. It establishes that the carrier in front of you holds the operating authority they claim, which is a different question from whether they are creditworthy.

  3. Their own published integration list already includes Creditsafe and First Corporate Solutions, which is to say two other partners on this page. That is a useful signal for a factor: these are companies that already fit together in production somewhere, rather than a set of unrelated logos.

What would move

What would flow between the two systems, and in which direction.

This is the question a technology partnership starts with, because it determines whether there is anything worth building. It describes the exchange, not a shipped feature.

  1. Decipher is a front end that other data flows into rather than a source a platform calls. In practice a factor either runs origination in Decipher and passes an approved client into the funding platform, or runs origination in the funding platform and does not need Decipher at all. Which of those is right depends on how much of your intake is already structured.

  2. Their documented connector list covers credit sources, banking data, accounting packages and customer relationship management.

  3. They publish no public developer documentation. Their integrations are productised connectors rather than an open API, and it is fairer to describe it that way than to imply endpoints exist.

Where this stands in the product

The connection, stated the way the register states it

No register rowNothing connects today

A commercial relationship. No connection is recorded in the FactorFox integration register today, so nothing in the product currently connects to Decipher and this page does not suggest otherwise.

How every status word is defined

What we could not establish

Published deliberately, rather than quietly left out

Employee count, ownership and customer count are not published. The performance percentages on their site carry no published methodology, so we do not repeat them.

A partner page that has an answer for everything has usually stopped checking. Several companies in this group publish no founding year and no headcount at all, and that is a finding about the industry rather than a gap in the research.

Sources

Where these facts came from.

Check them. That is the entire point of publishing them.

The commercial relationship was confirmed by FactorFox on 28 August 2026. The connection status above is not confirmed by anybody at FactorFox. It is read from the integration register, which only engineering writes to.

Ask us what connects today, and we will answer with the register open.

Not with a logo strip. If the answer is that nothing connects to a vendor you depend on, you will hear that in the first conversation rather than in week five of an implementation.
